Quote-leftwent there with 6 other people. we got a private dining room where was right behind the bar section. the restaurant has a nice open space so we hoped we can get a table there but i guess the group of 7 was too big for the space.

we had their family style ($60 per person) tasting menu which our server recommended.

a couple of appertizers were interesting but not impressing. very impressed by pasta, but not with main (beef was burnt and too hard to chew, skate was too salty, and chicken was too normal). we kinda regretted to go for the tasting menu.

i might go back there to try some the items on their regular menu (like pork) next time.Quote-right

Quote-leftFantastic locale on a gorgeous night. Super fresh ingredients. Great pastas that aren't too heavy. Need to go back for that chicken though, which I missed the first time 'round.Quote-right

Quote-leftExcellent place in the West Village/Meatpacking. We had a great lunch there once and bumped into Michael Stipe in the bathroom. Oh, and the food there is great.Quote-right

Quote-leftHighly recommend the chef's table w/ a group. And when the nice weather returns book a table outside or near the glass walls that open up to the street.Quote-right
