Wife and I for dinner @ Restaurant Connor Butler after reading the below reviews. Fantastic is how we would describe it. Enthusiastic, talented young chef is also the owner. His lobster bisque is beyond delicious. I had the filet minon and my wife had his new Fall tasting menu. Top notch. Plus comfortable seating, great knowledgable service, interesting wines, and a very likable bartender. Warning, though, be prepared to be there and be eating/drinking for at least 2 hours.
A hidden GEM right here in Vancouver! I'd heard rave reviews from a couple of friends about this venue, and I have to say I agree. *Connor Butler* offers a cozy, intimate, dining experience...food is abundant, flavorful & delicious from start to finish. I'd suggest this restaurant to anyone for an intimate date, a special occasion, or simply for delicious food.
A single visit for lunch, on Mother's Day if I am correct. As with most restaurants of this "level", the food did not disappoint. The service was nice, and they even had food that could be prepared for children, which was great for my kid sister, who is usually stuck eating bits and pieces due to her very narrow tolerance for "strange" and new tastes.
However, it is apparently not memorable enough for me to still remember what I ate.
