Mary Murphy and I had dinner there outside on the patio recently. I was there many years ago when it first opened and have forgotten about it actually. The homemade bread was fresh from the wood fired oven; the burrata was also fresh and delicious and the roasted beets with orange segments, mint, shaved parmigiano, and a sprinkle of crushed pine nuts absolutely superb. The pasta also. The eyecandy is oustanding!
Ok. So, I went here with some co-workers at 6 pm on a Friday and it was soooo cute. It is attached to a hotel and was a very chic spot to be outdoors (on a roof), get some sun, and have great drinks (lemon drop, elderflower cocktail) and REAL PIZZA!! Here's the bad news: service needs some work. The time between ordering/receiving drinks and waiting for our check was rather lengthy. Too many people, not enough servers. Overall, Great place and I would definitely go back...but with lower expectations. xoxo
