One of the most unique, filling, and flavor breakfasts I've had in a long time! If you love a hearty savory breakfast and something different than your standard eggs/toast kind of thing, Pambiche is the way to go for breakfast. I highly recommend the casamiento (eggs made to order, served on a bed of black turtle beans, rice, and pork and ham bits), served with fried plaintains and roasted red peppers on the side. Of course, with a Cuban breakfast you've got to have the Cuban coffee and the caffe con leche is simply amazing. A great value for the portions and uniqueness of flavors. It was so hard to choose which dish to order though as there are so many! Btw, they have their menus on their website if one wants to mull over the menu in advance. I love their happy hours and dinner, but breakfast may have won me over!
The Cuban sandwich is TO DIE FOR!! I need to make another trip down there.
Authentic Cuban food. (Too authentic for me!) Aside from an unfortunate misunderstanding about the menu, the meal was good. Dessert was excellent.
Excellent savory meats and tasty legumes, topped with an exquisite custom coffee blend made by Stumptown
One of my wife and mines favorite places to eat. Large portions go along with the somewhat high prices at this delightful pan-caribbean restaurant. Particular favorites: Ajiaco, Ropa de Vieja, pineapple soda with lemon.
Only complaint is that I wish it were bigger - the food and desserts are great.
