I've been to Balthazar twice, on two different visits to NYC. Both times I was completely impressed with Balthazar's French-inspired dishes. The food is divine, the atmosphere is cozy but usually bustling, and the staff is accommodating.

It's kind of a classic, so it's a nice place to go at least once, but I can't say that it stood out as one of my favorites while we were in nyc.

Good food, great environment!! Have seen lots of celebrities here.

Un locale che imita le brasserie parigine. Ottimo l'ambiente anche se un po' troppo "caciarone". Buono ma non eccellente.

Love the atmosphere more than the food. Breakfast and lunch is great. SOHO at its finest.

Just so so...not sure what the hype is all about. The squish you in like sardines.

So nice on the afternoon, good place to hang out with friends with a nice glass of wine....
