Not around anymore, but the service was always bad. Food was good - which was the only reason to go back. Too bad the front of the house couldn't rise to the back of the house's standards.
miss this place (in all of its past incarnations) - just an event space now. :(
The bar changes the color of its backlight - very cool. The food is excellent, the crowd's very conservative in dress and demeanor.
This is Mexican CUISINE - not food. The SANGRIA - don't miss out, and gotta love the marinated veggies instead of chips and salsa served at Mexican Joints.
neighborhood hangout - Black bean pita is amazing
If you are looking for that California Mexican flavor that you can't seem to satisfy elsewhere - this is the place. The margaritas, chips, and salsa are a great way to start. Beware: the portions are not small.
